Barbara J. (Zurick) Shawhan

76, Passed away on March 29, 2017. Born on June 1, 1940 in Pittsburgh. Loving wife to Patrick Shawhan who passed in 2011. Loving mother to Barbara (Barry) Momyer. Proud Grandmother to Ian, Kristin and Joshua Momyer. Survived by her Brother in law William (Carol) Shawhan, sister in-laws Rose Zurick, Joan Zurick, Eleanor “Chickie” Picchi and Dee Shawhan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by 2 brothers Thomas and Robert Zurick.

Barbara loved spending time with her family, and also enjoyed to volunteer with Operation Troop Appreciation (OTA).

Friends will be received from 2-4  6-8 PM. Saturday, April 1, and 1-5 PM Sunday, April 2,  2017 at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services ; 2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Holy Apostles Parish of St Wendelin.

Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Park
