Marie F. (Walter) Pope

92, Passed away on September 29, 2016. Born April 1, 1924 in Pittsburgh daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian Walter.  Loving wife of the late James Pope. Caring mother of the late Anthony Pope, Joseph (Debbie) Pope and James (JoAnne) Pope. Proud Grandmother of Joseph (Nicole), Christopher, James (Jessie) and Andrew (Bridget). Great-grandmother of four. Proceeded in death by her sister Elizabeth (Betty) Beerman.

Marie loved spending time with her family, baking Christmas cookies and playing bingo.Marie’s family would like to thank the staff of Atria’s Senior Living for their kindness and loving care they gave their mother.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-8 pm at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Sylvester Catholic Church onMonday, October 3, 2016 at 10 am.

Interment will be held at St John Vianney Cemetery
