Mary Ann (Bachleda) Kaczkowski

In her 94th year, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 26, 2016, to be with her Lord.  She was always good with numbers and math.  She worked first at the Pittsburgh Mercantile Company in the offices.  She then moved on to work in the statistical department at Kaufmann's Department Store and later for Macy's.  Her business career spanned 6 decades interrupted by a career as a home maker.  Her true passions in life were interacting with her cherished family and maintaining an immaculate and happy home.  She always enjoyed treating her guests and visitors with a kind word and a warm meal.  She was disappointed if you stopped by and didn't have something to eat.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty years Edward John, her parents Frank and Ursula Bachleda and her siblings Agnes Frego and her husband John, Stephanie, Bernice, Frank and his wife Irene, and John.  She leaves behind her loving son Edward F. and his wife Deborah J. and her grandchildren  E. Michael and his wife Alyssa Gregory, Amy Lynn and Rebecca Ann.  Also surviving is her nephew John Frego and his wife Michelle and their daughter Ashley Anne.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 29th at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home, 2935 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.  A Mass of christian burial will be celebrated on November 30, 2016 at 10:30 am Holy Apostles Parish of Saint Wendelin's Church.  Interment will be at Saint Josaphat Cemetery.
