Thomas F. Wastek

Age 77, of Whitehall, Monday, June 5, 2017 marked the peaceful end to a life well loved and well lived. Son to the late Frank Wastek and Dorothy McLaughlin. Beloved husband of 53 years to Joanne (Russetto); loving father to Shelley (Dale Jr.) Puckey, Patty (Dale Jr.) Riether, and Debbie (Steve) Kemerer ; cherished Pap  of Dale “Tommy”, Alexandra, Joshua and Jacob; brother of William (Sue) McLaughlin, Carol (Wastek) Claus, and Gregory (Cheryl) Wastek.

Tom served proudly in the U.S Navy aboard the USS Eaton (DD-510). He took great joy in spending time with his family and friends and especially enjoyed fishing. He will be deeply missed but always in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 2-8 pm at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227

A Mass will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Catholic Church at 10 am.
