William J. Schmidt

85, of Brentwood, Passed away on January 28, 2017. Born in Pittsburgh on August 22, 1931 the son to the late Clarence and Elenora Schmidt. Cherished husband to the late Lillian Schmidt. Loving father of William (the late Sandy) Schmidt, Linda (Mark) Gross, Sandra (Joe) Schnupp, Mary Jo (Donn) Schmidt and the late Deborah Ventrone; cherished grandfather of John, Tim, Colleen, Kelly, Lori, Amy and Emily; Preceded in death by two brothers Edward and Clarence Schmidt.

Friends will be received from 2-8pm with a blessing service at 8 pm. on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227

A prayer will be held at 11:30 am. On Friday, February 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Interment immediately following at Jefferson Memorial Park.
