Sara Marie "Sally" (Hunter) Falcione

88, Passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024. Born in Pittsburgh on July 3 1935, beloved daughter to the late Lee and Marie Hunter. Loving wife of 71 years to the late James Falcione. Caring mother of Sandra (James) Simler, Linda (the late Don) Born, James Falcione Jr., Deborah Falcione and Thomas (Gina) Falcione. Proud grandmother to Kellie, Patrick, Laura, Tara, James, Aidan, Jeff, Michael, Cubie, Emily, Jason, Matthew, Alyssa, Nicholas, Steven, Christopher, Shauna, Angela and Natalie. Great-grandmother to 23. Sister to the late William Breeze, the late Elizabeth Leonard, Howard Hunter and Marylea Sweeney. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members.  

Sally was the heart and soul of her family. She passed away peacefully just days after her beloved husband. Together again, they embark on a new journey hand in hand, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Nothing brought Sally more joy than spending time with her loved ones. She had a special place in her heart for all animals and found comfort in their companionship. Sally enjoyed her shopping outings with her daughters  and cherished late-night conversations on the phone with her dear sister, Marylea.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 am. on March 27, 2024 at Triumph of the Holy Cross at St Thomas A Becket Catholic Parish.  

Interment will be held at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
