Shirley C. (Donahue) Killgallon

Pat passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017 at the age of 88. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert, mother Loretta Donahue, father Matthew Donahue, brother Leo (Lois) Donahue, sister June Donahue, sister Jean McRoberts, sister Irma (Ronald) Goga and brother-in-law Ernest Matuszak. She is survived by sister Loretta “Boots” Matuszak.

She is also survived by her son Joe (Linda) Killgallon and her daughter Patricia (Todd) Lawrence. Also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Michelle (Phil) Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Megan Killgallon, Michael Killgallon, Caitlyn Lawrence, Tyler Lawrence, Alexis Lawrence and Chelsea Lawrence. She is also survived by many special neices, nephews and their families.

Pat was born on the South Side of Pittsburgh where she graduated from St. Casmir High School. She worked as a switch board operator at St. Joseph’s Hospital and American Hardware before she raised her children. She was an active member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Pleasant Hills where she could be found at daily mass prior to falling ill. She also had many friends in her Baldwin Borough neighborhood and at Kribel’s Bakery, where she worked in her later years. Pat will be remembered as a devoted wife, daughter, mother and grandmother, a fabulous cook and a great friend. She loved to dance, sing, laugh and organize a great party at the Donahue pool.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2935 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh,PA 15227.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10 am.

Internment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
