89, of Pittsburgh, passed away on March 16, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh on Febuary 11, 1933. Beloved son to the late William and Anna Sweeney . Loving husband of 59 years to Mary lea Sweeney. Proud father to Kevin Sweeney, Keith Sweeney and Brian (Jessica) Sweeney. Proud grandfather to Kevin Jr., Shane, Patrick and Matthew. Also survived by many loving family members.
Bernard proudly served and is a US Army veteran. He retired from LTV after 33 years as an electrician.
Friends will be received March 25, 2022 from 9 – 10:30 am. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Blessed Trinity Parish at St Albert the Great CC.
Interment will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full military Honors.
