Chester J. Bakowski Jr.

98, Passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.  Born in Pittsburgh on March 16, 1927.  Beloved son to the late Chester and Helen Bakowski. Loving husband to the late Dorothy Bakowski who passed in 2021. Caring father to Matthew (Tracy) Bakowski, Paul (Lisa) Bakowski and Thomas (Debi) Bakowski. Proud grandfather to 9 and Great Grandfather to 10. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, loving extended family members and friends. Preceded in death by one daughter Barbara Jean Bakowski who passed in 1986.

Family and Friends will be received on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 2-8 pm. at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

Funeral service will be held 10 am. Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Jefferson Memorial Park Chapel with Military Honors.
