Obituary
92, passed away on July 7, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh on April 11, 1931, beloved daughter to the late Charles T. and Salome McConnell. Loving wife of 54 years to the late Harry E. Kozlowski. Caring mother to David E. Kozlowski, Dr. Elaine M. Hylek, Lee Ann Reiter, Gerald A. Kozlowski and Eric (Joanne) Kozlowski. Grandmother to 11 and Great-grandmother to 8. Sister to Marion Woodward and Gerald McConnell. Also survived by special friends Pete Micheli Jr. and Randy Hylek. Preceded in death by Ethel DiFiore, Patricia Sharkey, Regis Randall and Craig McConnell.
Claire loved swimming at the Fort and was a practical nurse at Magee Woman’s Hospital for 20 years.
Friends will be received on July 23, 2023 from 2-8 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am. On July 24, 2023 at Blessed Trinity Parish of St Albert the great Church.
Interment will be held at St Wendelin Cemetery.
