84, Passed away on January 26, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh on July 15, 1938. Beloved daughter to Frank and Marie Denk. Loving wife to the late Sigmund Kovach. Caring mother to Michael (Kathy) Kovach, Mary Ellen (Stuart Chisholm) Houston and John (Michelle) Kovach. Proud grandmother to Kara (David) Butler, Katie (Matthew) Kovach, Karlie Kovach, John Houston and Emily Houston. Great-grandmother to Sadie Butler, Sheperd, Holden and Liam Moeslein. Sister to Frank (Darlene) Denk, Mary Lou (Joe) Garase , John (Linda) Denk and brother in law Ed Waligorski. Also survived many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her sister Carole Waligorski and brother Thomas Denk.
Donna was a long time member of St. Sylvester’s Church as a Eucharistic Minister and a member of Ladies of Charity. She was also a dedicated volunteer for many years at St Paul Monastery in Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 2-8 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 am. Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at Blessed Trinity Parish at St Sylvester’s Catholic Church.
Interment will be held at St John Vianney Cemetery
