Dorothy F. (Doty) Nelson

91, of Baldwin, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away surrounded by her family on May 16, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh on December 5, 1930. Beloved daughter to the late Tony and Frances Doty. Wife to the late James D. Nelson who passed in 1992. Loving mother to the late Dee (Louis) Wittman, Barbara (Late Dave) Romito, Evelyn (George) Lauman,  Lorie (Jonathan) Chiz. Cherished Grandmother to Michael (Renee) Cecere IV, Tammy (Denny) Higgins, James (Denise) Cecere, Louie (Nicole) Wittman IV. Jessaca Gallagher and Nicholas Lauman. Adoring Great Grandmother to Rachael Cecere, Nicole (Tanner) Mannella, Michael Cecere V, Dennis Higgins Jr.,  Nicholas Cecere, Madison Higgins and Haley Cecere. Great-great Grandmother to Bristol and Layla. Loving sister to Donald (Carol) Doty, Robert (Lucy passed) Doty and sister in law Heidi Doty. Also survived by two step daughters and their families, many loving Nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her siblings Evelyn (William Passed) Barker,William Doty and two twin granddaughters Samantha and Danielle.
Dorothy loved spending time with her family and friends doing cookouts and celebrating the holidays. Over the years her home was your home. She was most proud of her family and loved her faithful fur baby Jasper. 
Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 1-4 & 6-9pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 am. Thursday, May 19, 2022 Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227. with Graveside prayers following at  Jefferson Memorial Park.
