George Drescher

83, of Baldwin, passed away on December 20, 2018. Born, in Pittsburgh on August 13, 1935 beloved son to the late George and Helen Drescher. Loving husband to the late Marilou Drescher. Caring father to William (Deborah) Drescher, George R. (Sandra) Drescher, Sharon Wimer, and Cyndi (William) LePay. Proud grandfather to Lisa (Frank), Renee, Melissa and Bryan. Great-grandfather to Zachery, Brandon, Autumn and Oliver. Brother to Kay Sharrer, Dorothy (Chester) Bakowski and Nancy Lewis. Also survived by his special companion Charlene “Toots” Franz, one son-in-law Michael Kuhlman and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by one daughter Carol Kuhlman, four sisters Jean, Barbara, Rosemary and Helen and one brother John.

Friends will be received on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, from 2-4 & 6–8 pm. and Sunday, Dec. 23 from 1-8 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227

A Funeral service will be held at 10:30am. Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at Catholic Community of South Pittsburgh at St Wendelin Church.

Interment will be held at St Wendelin Cemetery
