James F. (Jim) Winter
Winter, James F, 93, of Baldwin Borough passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. Son of the late William and Margaret (Wallisch) Winter. Survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Marlene S. (Galiszewski) Winter. Loving father of Stephanie (Robert Naill) and the late William J. “Bill” (Sandy) Winter. Loving grandfather of James P. (Maggie) Winter; great-grandfather to Alia, Zelena, ArchiDrew Winter and Zowen Fike. Dear brother of Bishop William Winter and the late Laurence A. (Patricia) Winter. Jim worked as a pattern maker at Hill-Wallisch Corporation for the majority of his career. After retiring, he volunteered at the Cloverleaf Food Pantry for over 25 years where he received awards for his service and dedication. Jim enjoyed creating spectacular stained-glass art and spending time at his cottage near Uniontown, PA.
Friends will be received on July 12, 2026, from 1-5 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, Pa 15227.
Funeral Mass will be held 10 am. Monday, July 13, 2026, at St Elizabeth of Hungry Church; 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
