88 1/2, of Brentwood passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Born in Pittsburgh on July 11, 1932 daughter to the late Anna and Joseph Schorr. Loving wife to the late William Funaiock. Loving mother to Gary (Cher) Funaiock, Debra Rizzo, Gail (Martin) Snyder and Stacy (Richard) Gonzalez. Cherished grandmother to Brian (Amber), Vincent (Kristina), Christopher (April), Allison, Bradley (Kelly), Brandon (Abby), Lisa (Dan), Michael (Jessica), Lauren (Zack), Kevin (Micale), and Sara. Adored great-grandmother to Abigail, Kaelin, Zeta, Ryan, Brady, Alexis, Johnny, Vanna, Jesse, Bryce, Justin, Bruno and Mia. Preceded in death by one brother Donald Schorr.
Joan had a favorite saying “I AM BLESSED”. She had a strong faith in the Lord, and loved and adored her family.
Visitation will be held 2-8 pm. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227
Funeral service will be held 10:30 am. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of the South Hills; 418 Maxwell Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15236
Interment will be held at Jefferson Memorial Park
