94, passed away on December 20, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh on July 23, 1929. Beloved daughter to the late Bernard and Jennie Farmer. Loving wife to the late Ira Hershberger who passed in 2012. Caring mother to Nancy (Harry) Silvis and the late Sandy Crews. Proud grandmother to Harry (Anne) Silvis, Ryan (Nicole) Silvis, Matthew (Paula) Silvis, Timothy (Tamara) Crews, Terry Crews and Tommy Crews. Great grandmother to Harry III, Marie, Gwen, Valerie, Jack, Andrew, Kate, Hutson and Isaiah. Also survived by many loving extended family members. Preceded in death by her siblings Ed Farmer, Joe Farmer, Bill Farmer, Kay Gilmantin, Bernadette Grosis and Betty Hollis. Louise’s family would also like to thank the staff at Presbyterian Senior Care.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2-8 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be held at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 12:30 pm.
