Mary Joan Sheehan
Obituary
92, passed away on April 28, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh on September 5, 1929. Loving daughter to the late Robert and Marie Sheehan. Caring sister to Bernadette Spavelko. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members. She worked as a nurse in the maternity ward of a Cleveland hospital for 50+ years.
In her spare time, she hand made many baby blankets for the family, as well as delicious Lemon Meringue pies for the holidays.
Friends will be received May 6, 2022 from 3-7 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pgh, PA 15227.
Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 Am. on May 7, 2022 at Blessed Trinity Parish at St Basil Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
