Melrose A. (McLaughlin) Hancock

84, the matriarch of the family passed away on April 6, 2023. Born in Pittsburgh on May 30, 1938. Oldest of 9 siblings to the late Regis and Dora McLaughlin. Loving wife of 22 years to the late Edward Hancock who passed in 2009. Caring mother to Robert G Bereksazi, James A. Bereksazi, Beth Ann Ward, Melaine J. Zeitler and Bernard Bereksazi Jr. Proud grandmother to 9 and great-grandmother to 10. Sister to Mary Louis Monheim, Regis D McLaughlin and Christine McLaughlin. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her siblings Carol, James, John, Regina and Peter. 

Friends will be received on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 form 2-4 & 6-8 pm. at the Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services; 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227.

A Funeral service will be held 11 am. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the funeral home

Interment will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies
