Robert K. Hamel

Robert K. Hamel, (85), Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on September 6, 2023 with his wife Joann at his side.  Bob was a career USPS employee, avid biker, stained glass maker, gardener, and kindest person we all hope to be.

Bob is survived by his wife Joann of 64 years, his five children: Diane, Dan, Ron, Jim and Jan, his 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Bob was predeceased by his parents Ken and Ida.

Holding to Bob’s wishes there will only be a private family ceremony.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you set aside special time with a loved one and find joy in their presence.
