Thomas “Tim” M. Mitruski

97, Passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025.  Born in Pittsburgh on December 31, 1927.  Beloved son to the late Steven and Anna Mitruski. Loving husband to the late Virginia J. (Urbanowicz) Mitruski who passed in 2018. Caring father to Kathleen (Bernie) Jackson, Susan Kowalski, Bernadette (Ed) Shott, Diane (Bill) Erny and Cheryl (John) Powell. Proud Grandfather to Christine Turcheck, Michael Kowalski, Matthew Kowalski, Sarah Shearer, Shannon Powell and Maddie Erny. Preceded in death by his siblings John and Helen. Also survived by 5 Great grandchildren, his best friend Matey Yalch and many loving extended family members. Special thank you to UPMC Hospice for all their care.

Tim worked for J & L Steel in the Pipefitters Union for 45 years, He bowled in the Champions League and the St Sylvester’s Bowling League for 27 years. He appeared on Bowling for Dollars TV show. Tim wanted to say Thank you to all my friends that helped me throughout my years.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home from 1-4 pm.
