Elizabeth A. (Novak) Nagel

87, peacefully passed on January 16, 2017. Born in Pittsburgh on January 27, 1929 , beloved daughter to the late Joseph and Victoria Novak. Loving wife to the late August Nagel. Beloved mother of Joyce (Jack) McMahon, James Nagel, John (Sue) Nagel and Janice (Alan) Wrzesinski. Caring grandmother to Amber, John, Tim, Matt and Lizzie. Great-Grandmother of Ryan, Madison, Jacob and Mia. Dear sister to Johanna Poljak. Preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Elizabeth liked gardening and baking. She said the rosary every night at 7:00pm and told us not to call her then. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart. She was a Christian mother at St. Henrys for many years. She will be greatly missed but loved knowing she was going where she deserved.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Cieslak & Tatko Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2935 Brownsville Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15227 from 2 – 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Apostles Parish at St. Norberts Catholic Church on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 10:30 am.

Interment will follow at Southside Cemetery.
